Microsoft Office®
Specialist program is the premier
certification for desktop applications. It
is a globally recognised standard for
demonstrating desktop skills with the
Microsoft Office suite applications such
as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,
Microsoft PowerPoint®, Microsoft
Access, Microsoft Outlook®, and
Microsoft Project
Students will be required to pass ONE or more certification exams to earn Microsoft Office Specialist certification. The exams provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise by evaluating overall comprehension of Microsoft applications. The exams are developed and validated by industry experts and are administered at iQCenters worldwide including Loyola Jesuit College. Microsoft Office Specialist certification is available at three levels: Core, Expert, and Master. The following are the requirements for achieving these certification levels for each of the products available in the Microsoft Office 2000 suite of products. MOS Core Certification: Candidates must successfully complete ANY ONE of the following Core examinations. MOS Expert Certification:Candidates must successfully complete ANY ONE of the following Expert examinations.
